The IRA Gift (QCD)

The IRA charitable rollover (also called the Qualified Charitable Distribution, or QCD) is a great way to make a tax-free gift to Boston Church of Christ. 

Donors over age 70 with a regular Individual Retirement Account (IRA) are required to take a minimum distribution or be taxed on that amount. Instead of being taxed on that distribution, “roll over” the distribution (up to $111,000/year) to the Boston Church of Christ, and no tax will be due.
